I’m a Mum?! is a new solo exhibition by Red Hong Yi, examining motherhood through the lens of her recent lived experience.

The exhibition brings together works developed from pregnancy through the immediate postpartum period. At its core is a series of 30 hand-embroidered pieces, created during the artist’s confinement period. Additional works include an installation reflecting the experience of confinement, body imprints documenting pregnancy, and pieces incorporating elements from a child’s high chair.

These machine embroidered handkerchiefs are a special recreation of select themes and messages inspired by the original hand-embroidered, muslin cloth artworks.

Packed in a custom designed sleeve and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity.
